Launched in the city and based in SoHo, the 3.1 Phillip Lim brand was cofounded by designer Phillip Lim and entrepreneur Wen Zhou with an emphasis on sustainability and community involvement. Adhering to these principles, the geometric Large Prism tote pulls together leftover archival leather to create a striped array of colors which can be hoisted by hand or with its arcing shoulder strap, also composed from multi-colored leather.
New York mainstay Marc Jacobs first catapulted into fashion stardom following the launch of his namesake brand in 1984, crafting some of the most iconic silhouettes and designs of the past few decades.
